Bookmarklets, in brief, are simple links that contains javascript code that act as a mini tool or service. If you’re new to bookmarklets – they’re an awesome timesaver. To use them, you just drag the links to your link toolbar (or just bookmark it from the right-click menu) and click it whenever you want to email the current page, tinyurl the current page, send the page to your social networking site of choice, or whatever you want.
My favorites, of course, are the ones I made, like Twiit (the new and improved version of TwitIt), BlipEmbed, PingDash (a refinement of PingPlus), GoogleImages, Upgur, and QuoteIt.
My other favorite all purpose bookmarks are below. You can find more at Jesse’s Bookmarklets Site or Lifehacker.
This one allows you to download Youtube videos as MP4s.
