My New Year’s Resolutions

I hereby resolve to broaden my self to achieve a greater empowerment across a broad spectrum and to leverage my potential to access a greater paradigm by streamlining my efforts in a new matrix of multitasking and specialization and by combining resources to maximize value and growth.

I resolve to make fewer mountains out of molehills

I resolve to bloom where I have been planted.

I resolve to dance with the one who brought me.

I resolve to be more erudite and less flummoxed.

I resolve to get over it.

I resolve to let a sleeping dog lay.

I resolve not to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Rednecks Gone Wild: Saints football bet results in shot up big screen TV (via @profblmkelley)

Filed under: NFL, New Orleans Saints, Washington Redskins — Tags: , — webadmin @ 7:34 am

The backstory is quite simply that a Redskins fan told his Facebook friends that they could shoot his TV if the Saints beat his team last Sunday. When the Saints prevailed in overtime, his friends quickly arrived, guns (and beer) in hand. The resulting five minutes of Youtube footage have already been viewed more than 350,000 times this week.

… and I’m proud to be an American
where at least I know I’m free
to make a crazy football bet
that destroys my TV

Colbert ft. Alicia Keys – Empire State of Mind (Part 2) – the Conn. Remix

Filed under: Music, Stephen Colbert — webadmin @ 12:14 am

We knew Stephen Colbert could sing. We knew he could dance. We even knew he could convince hoards of viewers to rewrite the history of the elephant. But did we know he could rap? Oh right, we did. Well, he still can. In fact, he should probably just always rap everything he says from now on, because he’s awesome at it.

Yeah, I love New York, it’s the king of all the cities

I lived up by the guggenheim till I got myself some kiddies

Moved to Connecticut, bye George Pataki

Volvo to the dry-cleaner pickin’ up my khakis

Now my shopping mall is closer, my community is gated

My shorties are all private school educated

Home theater system, 60-inch plasma

Clean suburban air much better for my asthma

Still hit the city, Times Square I keep it real

Hard Rock Cafe for their appetizer deal

M&Ms Store, Disney Store, I’m in heaven

I own this town from 41st to 47

Got tickets to The Lion King, that show is fantastic

Leave half an hour early so I can beat the traffic

I can get home really fast, driver rocks an EZ-Pass

To the land of cheaper gas and the upper middle class
